On 11th May we joined forces with a team of budding young volunteers from Bilbrook Codsall Beavers. Over the period of an hour we collected 3 large bags of litter from Lime Tree Gardens and surrounding streets.
Thank you to all who helped us, you’ve stopped this litter from harming wildlife, breaking down into micro-plastics and being washed down our drains, ending up in the Moat Brook to be washed downstream into the North Sea.
We hope that those who came out with us tonight will be inspired to do their own litter picking, maybe with members of their family, to get our streets litter free.
